Janette Orona, LPC-A

Janette (she/they) holds their Master’s Degree of Science in Clinical Mental Health from the University of North Texas. Janette is currently a Licensed Professional Counseling-Associate (LPC-Associate), supervised by Lori Martin, LPC-Supervisor. Janette is also a National Certified Counselor. She is bi-lingual in English and Spanish.

Janette works from a person-centered approach, believing that all people have within them the tools to heal. Their counseling perspective is one of collaboration and authenticity. Janette’s counseling interests include all things queer, particularly those in the trans community. She is also interested in counseling men’s emotional health/wellness, addiction, and neurodiversity – particularly those who are autistic.

Janette is a local Dentonite and in their free time, you can find them grocery shopping with their wife, spending time with their two dogs, watching Bob’s Burgers, cooking, or tending to plants.
