Robin Nevin, Ph.D.

Robin earned her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University where she pursued her research interest in resiliency/resilient adaptation. Robin enjoys helping people understand how their past experiences have shaped their identity, worldview, and relationships. She believes that people were made to connect with one another, and personal growth happens in relationship and not in isolation. Robin is passionate about supporting others as they move toward strength-based change, while fostering personal and interpersonal empowerment. Robin has worked in a variety of settings, including university counseling, community health, and private practice. Her clinical practice focuses on trauma recovery, grief and loss, anxiety and depression, interpersonal/relationship issues, as well as religious and spiritual concerns. When she is not doing therapy, Robin can be found with her partner in nature – either in their urban garden or biking along urban trails.
