Kitzia Moreno (she/her) is a Doctoral therapist in training, earning her Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. As a relational, person-centered therapist, she believes it is an honor to hear clients’ personal stories and walk with them on their healing journey. She believes healing happens through relationships and works to create a safe atmosphere of open communication where clients can feel seen, heard, and valued. Kitzia has training in trauma-informed practices and multicultural counseling; however, she believes that the client is the expert in their own life. Her greatest hope is to develop an authentic connection with clients that meets their needs and celebrates their unique identities. Kitzia has considerable experience working with survivors of trauma and LGBTQ+ identity development. Outside of her role as a therapist, Kitzia engages in self-care by tending to her many plants and spending time with her Great Dane named Groot.
Kitzia es bilingüe. Entiende las diferencias culturales y las barreras que existen para encontrar servicios en español. Su enfoque multicultural le brinda la oportunidad de conectar más profundamente con sus clientes.
